The Lesser Known Benefits Of CBD (Part 3)

The List Of Potential Benefits Of CBD Continues

When most people think of natural wellness, they may think of a healthy diet and exercise. However, there are many other ways to promote natural wellness that don’t involve eating right or going to the gym. One way is using CBD oil from hemp plants which can have some incredible benefits for overall health. In the third part of our blog series on the lesser-known benefits of CBD oil, we will discuss how you can use it in a few surprising ways you may not have heard of.

Slowing Cancer Cell Metastization

One of the lesser-known benefits is that CBD oil may potentially be used to slow cancer cell metastasis. Metastasis occurs when a tumor spreads and starts growing in other areas throughout the body, making it much more difficult for doctors to treat. It is said that CBD may promote the death of cancer cells, but more research is needed before CBD may be considered an alternative form of treatment.

For those going through chemotherapy, CBD may aid the patient with nausea issues. Chemotherapy is known for frequently causing extreme nausea post-treatment. However, for patients who consume CBD, there is a growing body of anecdotal evidence that suggests it may help lessen or eliminate some of these nauseous feelings.

Minimizes THC’s Effects

While not legal in all states yet, many people use medical marijuana across the U.S. to relieve various conditions. One major downside with using THC for relief is that it tends to impair users noticeably. So, although they are most likely gaining relief, they also may become unable to function in their day-to-day activities quite as well.

CBD hits on many of the same endocannabinoid receptors within the body. If you’ve experienced some of the adverse effects of THC and want to help ward them off, CBD may reduce the effectiveness of THC by essentially getting in the way of it being absorbed by your endocannabinoid system. The result is a reduction in the sensation of being impaired.

Alzheimer’s Support

Alzheimer’s affects millions of Americans and is one of the most common causes of dementia. One study found cannabidiol to be effective in lessening the impacts of some neurodegenerative diseases, which may also have an impact on Alzheimer’s patients. CBD may be able to do this by its presumed ability to reduce cognitive issues in patients.

Smoking Cessation

CBD may reduce nicotine withdrawal symptoms, such as anxiety and irritability. These reduced levels of anxiety and irritability may make it less likely to reach for a tobacco product when stressed. In addition, the reduced amount of nicotine in your system means you’ll be less likely to want to smoke again for a while because it can become annoying or uncomfortable.

Pure Broad-spectrum CBD To Support Your Natural Wellness

CBD has been receiving increased attention in the media lately, but there are still many misconceptions about what it is and how you can use it. What many people don’t know is that CBD not only possibly helps with anxiety, chronic pain, inflammation, and insomnia, among other things, but it also minimizes the effects of THC. In addition, it may support a healthier brain that may be less likely to be affected by Alzheimer’s disease. If you’re trying to quit smoking cigarettes or cut back on alcohol consumption (both common stress triggers), CBD may help too.
